Unable to copy url-links from email.
-
When I get an email that contains a link, which just displays “Click here”, there is no way for me to copy the url in that link and choose to open it somewhere else, or paste it in somewhere. I can only choose to click on it and open it directly. If I hover my mouse over the “Click here” link, I will see what the url is, but I can’t do anything else with it in Deskapp other that open it. In Thunderbird I can right-click on the link in the mail, and choose “copy linkaddress”, and then inspect the url before I choose to open it. I’m on Deskapp 2.4.1. Is something wrong with my setup, or is this just how it is?

Hi @klausade
It’s a bug, see https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KD-427 -
It’s fixed in the master builds, you can give that a try.
-
@marty, just testet with 2.4.17, work just fine on Debian 10.
-
DeskApp 2.4.17, the MSI installer is buggy, upgrade will not work. After upgrade, the deskapp.exe file is missing, rerunning the installer and and repair the installation resolves the issue. This nasty bug exists in x86 and x64 version.
