Kopano 8.7.5 to External Outlook - incorrect calendar entries received

I was finally able to narrow down the behaviour.

The problem occurs when I send out a calendar invite from Kopano 8.7.5 with NO location.

The destination external bank (I believe microsoft exchange) receives the calendar invite but is unable to represent it as a calendar invite, but displays it as text.

If instead I send out a calendar invite with a locatin attached, then it’s all fine.

I have never observed this behaviour in 8.6

FYI.

I have updated the database to the latest UTF format.

I then sent a meeting invite from Kopano (personal use) and the bank where I work (my real paid job).

Without a location.

The bank’s Outlook does not recognise the meeting invite if a location is not specified.

You just get this in outlook

Am I the only one that suffers from this issue?

The bank where I work is a major UK one…

And I can’t send myself a meeting invite from Kopano to my place of work as the calendar entries are wrong.

This could apply to anyone else using Kopano to send meeting invites to such organisations…

Good afternoon,

I tried in all possible ways and this is still a problem.

If any emails get to the external bank (I can’t divulge the name on here but I can in private) the meeting invites in Outlook do not get received properly.

Surely this is a problem for Kopano? I.e. there may be other organisations with this setup…
