z-Push on Zimbra
-
HI,
I have a fully working version of Z-Push 2.3 on my Zimbra and I’m happy apart from some memory leak type behaviour (Slow) should I update to 2.5 ? I’d like to but slightly concerned as its essentially a YUM install …Secondly is there a GUI I can use ?
Thirdly is there a twerk to allow login and auto config of endpoints ?
Of all the above question 1 is the most important.

Hi @perplexed,

Since Z-Push 2.3 is out of support for quite a while you should anyways upgrade. I cannot say anything regarding compatibility of Z-Push 2.5.x and the Zimbra backend, though.

A gui for what? For upgrading?

Endpoints as in users/mobile devices? If yes then Z-Push supports autodiscover: https://wiki.z-hub.io/display/ZP/Configuring+Z-Push+Autodiscover

You should upgrade. There are so many improvements and bug fixes that have been made over the past few years.
Are you using the zimbra backend? And, if so, what version?
