Multiple Instances of DeskApp or displaying calendar and inbox at the same time?

Hey,

is it possible to have multiple DA-instances running at the same time?
I was asked how to display the Inbox and calendar at the same time (different windows for multi screen setups).

My “quick and dirty” soultion would be either a browser displaying the clandar and the deskapp showing the inbox at the same time or to have 2 browser windows opened at the same time…some colleagues insist this isn´t what they wanted.

is there any more elegant way to achieve this?
