Kopano WebMeeting missing some features.

Hi Kopano Community,

for some time now we are using kopano as our Mailing System. We now want to integrate webmeetings into our existing kopano server. It works, we can start meetings and all but we are missing some key features like adding people to existing calls or the meeting area. Our users cant chang erooms and can only start conference calls via a direct link from the conference host.

Webapp is Version 3.5.1
Web meetings is 0.29.5

Also we cant use shared secret user auth since it always says we got the wrong secret tokens even though we configered everything as pictured in the docs.

Would love to get some help from you guys ty in advance :)

actually when you are in a call, you can just pop out the user list (its called a “buddy list” in https://documentation.kopano.io/user_manual_web_meetings/using_kopano_web_meetings.html#kopano-web-meetings-overview) and call in any user from it

There is a text field (it reads by default “Main”) where you can switch to another room that you can use for that when you open webmeetings from within WebApp.

Do you have a subscription? If yes then this is probably easier to answer by our support with with a direct look on your system. If the login does not work then the most common conclusion is that you secrets don’t match.

PS: you are looking at our old/current web meetings product which will not receive much development any longer from us, since the project it is based on stopped development. The new and upcoming software for this is Kopano Meet.

thanks for your quick answer.

Actually the text field is missing entirely from our installation. i still was wondering since some more things were missing from our setup that were present in the documentation. Maybe instead of investing more time into kopano webmeeting i will take a look at Kopano Meet.
