Message-Id-Header in Kopano generated emails
-
Hi,
ususally, Kopano sends out new emails using the hostname of the kopano system to generate the domain part of an Message-Id header attribute.
Unfortunately, some spam checker software criticizes this and evaluates artributes negatively, if domain part of an Message-Id is not a full qualified domain name (see this report from rspamd):
I didn’t found it yet, but is it possible to change this behavior and add a fully-qualified domain name for Message-Id, instead of simply using the hostname of the local system?
Greetings,
Micha

@micha which version are you running?
You might be affected by https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KC-1393, which should be solved in the upcoming 8.7.2 release.

I saw it on a new customer system which should be migrated from Zarafa to Kopano and of course, 8.7.1 is the target version because it’s the latest production version.
As I understand it right, this behavior will be changed in 8.7.2? -
@micha yes, this behavior will be changed in 8.7.2.
