Windows 10 opens outlook instead of Kopano DeskApp

Hy!
has anyone the same problem?
we have an actual Win10 pc with DeskApp set as Default Email App.
but if you take a pdf with right klick and select send as email, outlook opens instead of DeskApp.
DeskApp has all protocols in the windows settings.how do i get the DeskApp set as default/standard App ?!?
any ideas?thanks!

On Windows DeskApp should also be registered as default MAPI client to make use of the OS integration features. This option can be found in your system setting under “Defaults per protocol”.

FYI - Solution for this:
create a *.reg File with following content:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail]
@=“Kopano DeskApp”[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail]
@=“Kopano DeskApp”and import it via Reg-Editor.
right click - send as mail … and other MAPI-using features will working!!!

we have a Win10 Client who does not react to this keys.
installed DeskApp 2.2.3 and it still does not work!! -
@JonnyCashCo That’s weird. Those two are the only registry keys I know what should be used for simpleMAPI stuff.
You could try to use Sysinternals - Process Monitor to check which registry keys are opened when doing that. (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon)
Best with a proper filter.
