survey reporting Kopano-Core 8.7

is there more information about “survey reporting”?

i upgraded my test system this morning and spend just a few minutes with it. i could not find any further information in the" man server.cfg" or the changelog.

so far i only found information in the announcment https://forum.kopano.io/topic/2110/kopano-groupware-core-8-7-final-available

yes, so far this is only mentioned in the announcement and also here in the forum when this functionality arrived in the master branch. Changes to the man page are still pending.

i just wanted to make sure

surveyclient_interval=0

really disables calling home to kopano. I understand your intention on the survey.
But i still don’t like the idea.

@xthbx Luckily its all open source, so you can easily verify that https://github.com/Kopano-dev/kopano-core/blob/kc-8.7.x/common/StatsClient.cpp

But yes indeed, setting the interval to 0 (as described in the announcement) disables the sending. If you are really paranoid you can also set surveyclient_url to e.g. localhost.
