        Hi ckruijntjens,

the log you’ve posted is not helpful. Those are error/warn messages from various requests. More information regarding debugging is available here: https://wiki.z-hub.io/display/ZP/Debugging .

            Hi ckruijntjens,

It looks like there are some messages Outlook is not able to process and syncs them over and over again causing loop detection to kick. Unfortunately there’s no simple response or a pattern to follow how to identify such items. You have to search the log for such broken items and check if you see something obviously wrong and then fix them or exclude them from sync. Some times it helps just to open such an item in webapp and save it.
One example would be ziektemeldingen contact. It doesn’t have a last name. I don’t know if that’s causing Outlook to not process this item, but it might be.
Search the log for “potential broken” and you’ll find another items which end up in loop. Or run z-push-admin -u user -d deviceid which will also list ignored items.

Hi Manfred. the strange thing is that it happens with all users.

                Hi ckruijntjens,

in my experience Outlook (every version) over ActiveSync breaks very easy causing loops or not syncing at all, so it’s not really surprising that almost everyone using such a setup sooner or later runs into some issues. Unfortunately it’s also not something we can easy fix in Z-Push or KOE as they are Outlook problems.

hi manfred just tested some more. if i use outlook 365 with latest kopano plugin syncing wont work.

if i use outlook 2016 with latest kopano plugin all my mail is synced within 10 minutes

this has defefinitly something to do with the office versions. maybe this is something you wanna know.

i Got a question. i tested some more. If i use Outlook and point to my internal ip (z-push machine) everthing gets synced with no problems and verry fast to.

If i dont point to my internal ip and my z-push resolves to my public ip address it takes verry long and sync breaks. however if i use my mobile phone (Iphone) it synces ok. (with public ip)

If i am on an other location and let my outlook sync from there it also breaks the sync.

What could be the problem as it works perfect if i point to my internal ip address when i am at home. The problems start when i am gone and it resolves to my public ip address.

                      Hi ckruijntjens,

maybe it’s something like this: https://forum.kopano.io/topic/2094/one-device-account-stops-syncing-ping/4

Hi Manfred i am afraid not. Because on my mobile it is working as expected. i am referring to my pc (outlook 2016) there is where things go wrong if i am outside of my home network. When i am at home and i tell my machines hostfile the internal ip of zpush like this:

mail.domain.nl 192.168.x.x the all syncs ok and fast to. When i am outside my home network and i remove the mail.domain.nl 192.168.x.x from the host file it works but sync breaks eventualy or becomes verry slow.

mail.domain.nl still can resolve to something like x.x.x.0, can’t it?
