DeskApp 2.1 pre-final available
-
DeskApp 2.1 has been uploaded to the pre-final directory today
- In this release we’ve changed the behavior when downloading a file: You can now perform ‘open’, ‘save’ and ‘save as’ action after a download.
The ‘open’ action will save the file by default in your system temporary directory. This can be changed in settings. - We’ve also fixed an issue related to deployment and UI language.
The complete changelog can be found here.
Updating can be done through the repositories, packages can be downloaded from the portal or from the download server. For community members, nightly packages are available here.

@marty: and another THANK YOU for your continuous work!
Testing -
@marty: the only thing I noticed again, at the moment, is that if you install a newer version of kopano-deskapp over an older one, the deskapp is not reacting to changes of the settings.
for example: If I chose to download an attachment with the deskapp 2.1, Save as does not bring up the popup where I can choose the downloadfolder.
Another thing happened a few weeks ago, I reported it @forum: The desktopnotifications were not reacting to my settings.
Solution in both cases:
Uninstall Deskapp completly and -very important- Delete the kopano-folder: c:\users<username>\appdata\local\kopano deskapp.
Install latest version of Deskapp -
@marty: Please verify printing of mail/calendar. If I print via DeskApp, there is an empty page again (problem was already there in prior releases and was fixed).
