Error with kopano-dbadm k-1216

  • Hi,

I run kopano-dbadm k-1216 on a 128 GB database. Unfortunately we see this errors:

    # kopano-dbadm k-1216
    dbadm: executing action "np-remove-highid"
    dbadm: executing action "np-repair-dups"
    dup: 4834 duplicates to repair

Fri May 11 19:48:03 2018: [error ] KDatabase::I_Update() query failed: "The table 'properties' is full", query: ALTER TABLE properties ADD INDEX tmptag (tag)

dbadm: adding temporary helper index on singleinstances
dbadm: adding temporary helper index on lob
dup: merging #3769 into #3768 in "properties"...

Debian 8.10 with all patches installed, enough space on all volumes.

Question, is it save to continue with “kopano-dbadm k-1216” or should we restore db from backup?

    Walter

  • The helper indices are completely optional; not having them is no harm, except that it takes more time (possibly a lot more time). However, Ctrl-C/termination during “merge” operations is something not yet supported as of 8.5.8.39.
