WebApp 3.4.11 pre-release is available

In this pre-release we have included a number of great improvements. We added the posibility to group on date in your inbox (group on other columns will be posible in the near future), you can now import and export contacts from an attachment (in VCF-file format), we fixed an issue with sorting search results on date and clicking an intranet button does not open a new tab every time anymore. The full changelog can be found here.
Updating can be done through the repositories, packages can be downloaded from the portal or directly from the download server. If you have feedback, we’d love to hear it here in the forum!
Note: this pre-release will be available as a final version over the course of next week.

Hello,
I just tested the grouping function - but I miss collapse/expand feature on clicking a group header ? Is that not possible to do ?

You are right, collapsing the groups is not something that is supported. Mainly because as as web application we do not have all items available at the time (and making them available would be a performance hit).

Ok thats a bit sorry - but how would you deal with future groupings lets say sender adress ? If no lookup is done on server side we’ll only see mails form senders who where in the configured preload (e.g. 50, 100, etc) ?

The items are requested from the server in the order/grouping that you have chosen. Currently only date, but more will be added later as well (such as sender). As you scroll down, new items will be added to the group as the come in, or new groups will be created.
