Search order mixed up

When we search for any email we tumbled over an very interesting bug - the first year is sorted correctly, but the next (2017) is on the bottom and the oldest email (in our case 2014) is after 2018

so the order is like:
2018
2014
2015
2016
2017

when we hit the sort button on received its sorted correctly again :)

Hi @f31n ,

currently items are retrieved from the search index in the order they have been indexed and not sorted by date before being displayed. We are currently thinking of adding dates to the search index which could let Xapian sort the date before replying.

So if we’d not imported the mails but generated it all the time on kopano we wouldn’t face that issue - i get you. thanks for that update.
