Undeliverable mail keeps being resent, kopano-server out of control
kopano-core seems te keep resending an undeliverable mail, clogging up the outbox several mails a second. Is there a way to stop this behaviour?
I stopped kopano-spooler thinking that was where the problem was, but kopano-server keeps filling the ‘outgoingqueue’ table in the kopano database, emptying this table doesn’t solve the problem either.
I rebooted the machine to no avail, starting kopano-server results in an out of control process. Any pointers at how to solve this?

kopano-spooler is indeed the process finally responsible to send out a mail that has been placed into the outbox to be handed over to the mta.
But this sounds like you have a rouge client trying to send broken messages. The right way would be to find this client and shut it down. Once the client has been identified it would be interesting to know why it acted that way.
At first I thought it had something to do with my modifications, but the error (repeatedly sending the mail only when replying to an email, but not when composing a new mail) occurred with the unmodified kopano.js as well. Downloading the latest version of the core packages and webapp packages solved the problem though.
So no idea what happened, but it’s solved now.
Another question though: I noticed that the inbox of the logged in user automatically refreshes every 30 seconds or so, but the inbox of a shared store doesn’t refresh until clicked. Is there a way to enable refresh on a shared store? Since that will be the mailbox that wil be used predominantly, it would be nice to have.

I guess you ask this in relation to https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KW-361? No not really, its just that you can only handle a certain amount of tickets at a time, so other issues are pushed down the road.
Yes, that was what is was based on… Since it sounded so definitive, I concluded there were major planned changes coming around that time. Anyway, great to see you guys working on what is a great product, and happy to inform our installation is coming along nicely. Once the installation has proven its success, I’ll insist on buying yearly user licenses for the small company I am doing the install for.
