      Hi everybody!

I have trouble with two mail stores, and I have no clue where to start the troubleshooting.

Environment: Kopano Core 8.4.5.0, Zarafa Outlook Extension (final), MAPI-Connection to Kopano.

      Case 1:
One store lost a folder with a bunch of subfolders and E-Mails in it. Theire gone without a trace.

      Case 2:
The other store suddenly renamed folders to “… (this computer only)”. But that name is obvisiously stored on the Kopano server, because when accessing the mail account from another client, the name of the folder is show to this computer, too.

Using the search functions, the mails can be found, but the folder search names is not there (it’s the old name, without the “this computer only” extension). To me, this looks like a corrupted database/object hierarchie.

Accessing Kopano via WebApp shows exactly the same for both cases.

I have database backups, so I can restore to a point in time where the problems were not here.

Can somebody please be so kind and give me a few advices what I might to to recover the folders and contents? What might do the trick?

      Thank you all.

I guess case one is the old Zarafa mapi connector and case two is the Kopano OL Extension?

I’d say for one http://wiki.zarafa.com/index.php/Resetting_mailbox_IPM_SUBTREE_entry should help, and case two are simply renamed folders (since they are renamed on the client and server).

        Regards Felix

          Thank you very much!

The script did not report any errors. It turned out that one of the mailboxes lost the mails due to an user error.

Basically - the mails were there all the time, but the folder was collapsed [sigh!]
