      Hi,
as known, the various cfg files have to be copied to the /etc/kopano folder.

All values of these .cfg files are commented out. So I am just wondering, whether I have to go through every parameter and set it correctly, or if you can leave most settings commented out via #.

I am aware, thats some essential values have to be set (server.cfg -> database-connection…), but what about the cfg for search, dagent, spooler.

Will it be secure by default?

      Thank you!

        Hi @mcdaniels,

you do not need to configure the configuration files, but you may do so if you want to have the example values in /etc/kopano. If something is not explicitly configured the default value will be used (the one that is also commented in the example files).

This and more is explained at https://documentation.kopano.io/kopanocore_administrator_manual/configure_kc_components.html
