the documentation stated:
“After the creation of new users the Kopano Server will automatically create the actual mailbox. This mailbox is by default created in the english. When another language is required the following configuration file has to be changed/created:
/etc/kopano/admin.cfg”
Unfortunately "admin.cfg is not installed on SLES12. Where I can find admin.cfg?

btw. there is no man page for this file:
man kopano-admin.cfg
No manual entry for kopano-admin.cfg
Not very help full.

You’re actually right. Even though this file exists for probably ten years already we did not yet think of creating a man page for it. I have added https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KC-1313 for this.
Until this ticket is resolved, the linked chapter in the manual has all the information you need (you really just need
default_store_locale). -

Well, the file is called admin.cfg not kopano-admin.cfg (only the manpages are), but more importantly, did it not occur to you to check
man kopano-admin? There are plenty of kopano utilities not all of which have a stand-alone cfg manpage, but have it in the program page. -
almost two years later: admin.cfg is still not installed. man kopano-admin.cfg also does not exist.
root@myserver:/etc/kopano# ls /usr/share/doc/kopano/example-config/admin.cfg ls: cannot access '/usr/share/doc/kopano/example-config/admin.cfg': No such file or directory(tested with Ubuntu 20.04 and today’s daily build core-10.0.6.298.95327a3-Ubuntu_20.04-amd64.tar.gz)
