[solved] centos 7.4.1708, Kopano 8.5.0.1-2.1.x86_64, no outgoing mail

Hello,

the last update created some hazzle. First, after the update to Kopano 8.5.0.1 all config files in /etc/kopano disappeared or were renamed to .rpmsave. After restoring from backup this could be solved easily.

But now kopano does no longer send outgoing mails. Incoming is fine but if I try to send email the Mail keeps sitting in the outbox folder forever. There is no difference if I try to send via webapp, outlook (active sync AND mapi) or ipad.

Did anyone see the same behavior? Any Ideas how to fix this? System was working fine until the update kicked in.

first a questions:
how are you accessing your kopano-server, via socket or tcp pipe?

second a hint: incrase your spooler-log-level (log_level = 5 # Loglevel (0(none), 1(crit), 2(err), 3(warn), 4(notice), 5(info), 6(debug)))

thank you for your time and reply :)

in the meantime I got it fixed by switching the config files to the .rpmnew versions.

It seems to me as some of the outdated configuration options created this.
