iCal error with Kopano 8.4.0

Hi @matnoublanche,
we recently fixed a bug that appeared with Apple ical, where an error was thrown because ical was unable to parse meeting exceptions (see https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KC-710 for more details).
Since you are not specifying your exact version can you update to the latest version, retry and if the error still occurs get a backup of the calendar and send it to feedback at kopano dot io (or open a support case if you have a valid subscription).

I remember you, you are the guy that made Zarafa working on Synology NAS :). Your scripts helped me a lot (I’m using Debian 8.0 now)
I’m using Kopano 8.4.0 version 1103 (the latest)

I saw KC-710 issue but after reading it I don’t saw the same errors on log file.
So I post my backup to the mail you mentioned

do you mean the Docker stuff? I just gave the initial idea for that project, but the main dev and i could not find a way to work together, so i never really contributed to this.
In other news: I was able to reproduce your issue, and even with an empty calendar. I created https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KC-750 to followup on this issue, especially since it does not seem to occur with the 8.3 packages for customers.

I see your issue, thank you for that. Do you know how much of time it will take to fix this issue or if it’s possible to downgrade to Kopano 8.3.3 ? (perhaps downgrade only kopano-ical package ?)

especially when running on different hosts, that would not be a problem. “unfortunately” release packages are only available to customers with a subscription, though.

I can buy one licence (I use Kopano for personal use) but when I follow this link https://kopano.com/pricing/ to buy 1 Basic licence I can only buy 5.
Do you know where I can buy “only” one licence ?

@matnoublanche the ticket was merged to the release branch yesterday, if not already done it will be merged into master in a few days so it will land in nightly some time in the next week.
