Now it’s nearly one year! It’s getting ridiculous. Kopano points at Univention and
Univenstion at Kopano, but no one has an honest interest to solve that problem!

We are a paying customer and getting no information.

I’m going to advice our CEO to swap from univention to a working solution like
      grommunio or something similar.

Could you please point me where Univention points at Kopano being the showstopper?

Feel free. You know that the UCS is something completely different than a groupware?

Thanks, that is the answer I’ve expected. No apology, no regret, just I give a shit about customers.

I cannot apologize for or regret something that is not in my hands. And if I gave a shit about customers or the community I would simply not write here.
But I also cannot make everyone happy. If you cannot wait any longer for Kopano on UCS5 than it is as it is.

              Hello,
it’s a shame to see one participant’s discussion posts slipping into the unprofessional like this. Some users may have given up, but many will continue to be interested in the current status. Univention has promised a weekly status update, but has not commented for almost 20 days now and unfortunately seems to ignore inquiries. Therefore I hope to hear something new from the diligent Kopano team at this point. Is there any progress in fixing the bugs in the update path? How far have the subsequent tests progressed? Is there a rough estimate for a release date?

@abraeumer Thanks for asking. We had a major breakthrough just today, first tests ran today and will be finalized probably tomorrow and if all works well than we will hand out the integration to Univention in order to release it. This process usually takes some days, so if things work as planned there could be a new version in the App Center during next week which will allow to upgrade UCS systems with Kopano installed from 4.4 to 5.0.

Here is a screenshot from one of my test systems, a 5.0 upgraded from 4.4 with Core and WebApp installed. But before today this needed a manual tweak in order to get it running after the upgrade, and that is nothing we wanted to ship before this is fixed.Screenshot from 2022-07-13 22-56-21.png

So thanks for everyone being patient: There is light at the end of the tunnel. :)

                    Hi @drauer,
just saw, we will be able to upgrade to Debian bullseye. Thanks
My question, which php-Version will be supported for the webapp and z-push?
Currently the Kopano-Webapp seems to have troubles with php8.0 .

                    thanks for reply

We finally made it, the Kopano for UCS5 integration was released to the App Center: https://kopano.com/featured/kopano-supports-univention-corporate-server-5-0/

Big thanks to everyone involved, it was a lot more work, testing and adapting needed than we expected. As usual the last 20% of a project take 80% of the time…
