Hello to all.

First, I’m a noob. Second, isntall Kopano on VMware Player works fine. But now noting goes an. The VMware Player is online, can search with the browser.
For 20 minutes ‘Bitte warten bis die Aktion durchgefuehrt wurde.’
My job in my company is to fix a mail problem with a contact form on our website. The form works with thunderbird, not with Kopano.

So, wanna take a closer look to Kopano. And know I’m here.

so if you’re a noob I recommend to use univention.

If you want to use your vmware player you need to provide a little more information - OS Version, Kopano Version etc.
It sounds like a windows OS problem?

@anotherandy hi, thanks for your help. Host System is an Ubuntu 21.04. Virtual Machine Name: UCS 4.4-with-kopano-core. Guest Operating System “Other Linux 2.6x kernel 64 bit”.

And here we go. I will just try it with an Debian 10, how recommended.

you get thsi message durring the installation process?
i assume you didn’t selected “create new UCS domain” (auf deutsch “erstellen einer neuen UCS Domäne”)
As guest-OS you can select Debian9 64-bit (Univention is based in Debian 9)

For me this works well, but i’m on a ESXi - not on VMware player

Thanks to all for your help, now I’m in. I’ve done a new installation with “debian 9 64 bit” and everything looks fine. Now we will see. :)
