      Hi,
we are using a 4K cam for Webmeetings in Kopano meet. But, if I look @ the resolution of Kopano Meet it is looking like same kind of 640x480 resolution. (Very pixeled)

So, is there any possibility to set a minimum resolution for videostreams? (incoming and outgoing)

Is there a standardresolution Meet uses?

      Thanks!

        Hi @mcdaniels,

Meet is indeed locked down to vga resolution, simply because its “good enough” and does not use excessive bandwidth (and cpu/gpu for encoding/decoding).

There is however a url fragment to influence the captured resolution, but since the bandwidth is still limited to 1mbps its usefulness is limited and therefore only part of the project readme and not the customer documentation.

hd= : Selects the maximum camera resolution based on the value of the hd parameter. 0, 1, 2, 3 or repectively 360p, 720p, 1080p, 4k can be selected.

        Regards Felix

The options are amazing, I always thought my camera was so bad…

Well, that should really be adjustable in the maindoku and in the web interface.
