Backup email addresses from the history

Is there a possibility to save the history of the email addresses in the DeskApp and if necessary to edit or restore them?

Unfortunately, the history is misused by various users again and again as an address book and the understanding is not that it is only a convenience function.

You are probably using python2,
Try python3 instead.

There is a --restore flag which restores from cpzengel.json or you can use --restore-file to restore from anyfile.json
