      Hi there,
      I successfully installed Kopano One with AD-Backend. Everything works so far and we are productive. In this setting all the members of the company have read access to all other calendars. Access is granted via a security-group in AD which every calendar grants read-access. If I now add another member to that group (e.g. new employee) that change isn’t federated to all calendars. It only changes when I add that (old) calendar, delete the group and re-add it. Then everything works fine. Is this a bug or is there any trick I don’t know?

        Hi @Ott,

        what exactly do you mean when you say:

        @ott said in Rights-Update whith AD-backend:

        that change isn’t federated to all calendars

        ?

        If you have assigned permissions to a group this should automatically be reflected to members of the group when you add/remove users from them. Have you checked the details of the group if it shows the added/removed members?

        PS: if you really want to give all your users access to a resource, then instead of using a group you’ve created on your own you can also use the default “everyone” group.

        Regards Felix

          In AD I have checked for the correct users. How to check that in Kopano ONE I don’t know. And yes, it “should” be automatic but the changes were made days ago (in AD) and I still have these problems. “everyone” crossed my mind too. But there are normal employees and there is the back-office without direct customer contact. And they don’t want everyone to see their calendars. ;-)

            The commands you need are the following:

            • kopano-admin -L -> list known groups
            • kopano-admin --details my-group --type group -> get details (such as members) of your group
            • kopano-admin --sync -> update user information in Kopano from your ldap

            Regards Felix
