Whats this about Kopano One?

I just noticed some of the updates on the main website with respect to the new Kopano One branding and Technical Account Managers. This looks pretty nice, but I haven’t seen any official announcements from the Kopano Team on what this is about?

I’ve been wondering as well after seeing a project on stash.kopano.io.
I poked around the wiki today and looked at the Kopano One installation steps and looked at the repo.

From what I can see right now: Kopano One is version 9.xx of Core. It’s also including a versioned mariadb server and postfix MTA. So truly a AIO package without having to setup other additional pieces of software. I like the idea to allow quicker onboarding and usage.

Kopano one is the future product, it comes with a license service.

Kopano Groupware is likely to slowly become EOL?
There is only one price list for Kopano ONE, not for the GW.

I’m also planning the yearly update. I have different options open and I have different must criteria if I’m going to pay for it.

Kopano One where will it be installed local on a Virtual Machine?
Is the old Kopano Groupware going to be EOL?
Will the Kopano Groupware be available for Ubuntu 20.X and later?
Can I have Kopano One in the cloud?
Can I have with Kopano One 1 Inbox and get several E-Mails in it and send from one account with different E-Mail Accounts?
Is Kopano One still opensource and for free available?

Yes it is made for the a local VM.
