        Hi @Finji,

there is no direct user import in Kopano in general.

In case you are using the db backend this could be solved with some simple bash, though.

If you are still aiming at the total amount of users you mentioned in your other topic you rather should use ldap as a backend instead, Importing users to ldap is a solved problem as well.

        Regards Felix

@fbartels I’ve another couple of offtopic question about Kopano architecture:

            • For example if granted user quota 5Gb, is that quota for mail and files in general or for one of mentioned?
            • Are mail data get compessed while storing in DB BLOB?
In other words: if mailbox occupies 5Gb, does
DB BLOB of that mailbox(we don’t take attachments in consideration) has exactly the same size on storage?

The quote is for the total (calculated) mailbox size. What good would be a quote if it just applies to some parts in your mailbox?

              Afaik no

No, I would expect the total sum of data in the database to be slightly bigger.

                Hi @fbartels!

What date of Kopano 8.7.x(bundled with Debian 10.x) End Of Life?
I mean EOL by maintainers not subscription support.
Is that date has been ever set?

Anyway thanks for great suite ;-)

                  Hi @Finji,

there has been to formal EOL date set for the 8.7 branch, but as soon as we will release the next version (9.x) 8.7 will only receive minimal attention from us. But any dates communicated will only be related to our packaging and releases anyway.

The packages that are included in Debian Buster are already several releases behind. You’d have to talk to their maintainer if you have questions about them specifically.
