      Hello,

I have a question and I hope you can help me. Unfortunately I do not even know if this section of the forum is the right place to post this question, so my apologies, should it not be.

I used Zarafa and Outlook. In Outlook I created rules which were then saved on the server. Every time I opened Outlook and created new rules these were pushed to the server. I loved that functionality and when I created my own I was thinking that by using dovecot sieve that would do the same thing. I managed to get sieve set up but somehow the sync between Outlook and the server does not happen.

My question is: What filter system was used on the Zarafa platform (which I assumed sieve was)? Can sieve be used with Outlook and z-push to store the filters?

      Thank you for your feedback.

      regards

        Hi @Realshadow,

that was a custom filter solution that was applied by dagent before the final delivery to the mailbox. The same solution still exists in Kopano and has even been enhanced a bit since then.

A quick search on the internet only brought up a now defunct plugin for Outlook for Mac

          Hi @fbartels

Thanks for your feedback. That’s unfortunate. I will have to figure out if I can make outlook run with dovecot sieve. Thanks though. That helps to understand the architecture a little better.

          regards
