        @marty

        I use DeskApp (on Windows 8.1 (de)) v2.19. But it’s the same with pure WebApp (3.5.0.2047+85.1) and e.G. Chrome, or Linux Mint (lmde2 Cinnamon)/Firefox

        Composer:
        0_1545064698966_kopano-minimal_tiny-compose.JPG

        After sending (outbox):
        0_1545064719031_kopano-minimal_tiny-sent.JPG

        Recipient (for tests to GroupWise 2014R2 Web-Client. Here, you see, “Table Test” is not centered)
        0_1545064776386_kopano-minimal_tiny-recipient-groupwise.JPG

        …or GroupWise FatClient
        0_1545065379832_kopano-minimal_tiny-recipient-groupwise-fatclient.JPG

        Maybe this is the same failure as in signatures. If i dumpout a signature AFTER a user edit his/her signature the HTML-code is malformed like

        <p style="padding: 0; margin: 0;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"></span></p>
        <p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Marcus Bauch...</span></p>
        <p></p>
        <p style="padding: 0; margin: 0;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></p>

        …original imported (setdefaultsignature.py) signature was:

        <p style="padding: 0; margin: 0;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Herzliche Gr&uuml;&szlig;e von Marcus</b></span></p>
        <p style="padding: 0; margin: 0;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></p>
        <p style="padding: 0; margin: 0;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color:green;">{%firstname}&nbsp;{%lastname} | {%department}</span></p>

          Is it still recommended to use the minimal tiny mce editor, if you do not want to have formatting issues in emails, or can we meanwhile use the standardeditor?

          Thanks!

                @mcdaniels

                Whatever you or a user prefers.
                I personally prefer the minimal version over the full version.

                  Hi @marty
                  ok it is clear to me that, you can choose the editor, but I wonder whether the formating issues are gone with the full editor (not the minimal).

                  But are there still the same formatting issues when using the full editor? (altering font in the mail… and so on)

                  Thanks ;-)

                    @mcdaniels the formatting issues with the full editor still exist. After extensive investigation we found that these can’t be resolved in a reasonable way, which is why we are working on introducing a new editor: Quill.

                    Regards, Bob

                      any news on Quill or maybe even a beta to give it a try?
