kopano-admin -l gives error in 50% of cases, and seemingly orphans a mailstore

I have noticed some weird behaviour: in 50% of the cases, the following command will give the following error:

kopano-admin -l
Unable to list users: "object" not found
Using the -v option (possibly multiple times) may give more hints.

The other 50% shows the expected output.

The really strange part is that after this, when I log out from the webapp, and login again, the shared mailbox of another user, is empty. By checking for orphaned mailstores, I see that it is orphaned. I can reproduce this every time. My own mailstore is intact and attached.

this is with 8.7.3.0-3.1 of the core applications/server/etc, and 3.5.8.2358-99.1 of kopano-webapp.
