Empty a folder from command line.

Good morning,

Is there any way to empty a folder “say Contacts” from the command line, without using webapp?

The answer is kopano python and particularly the empty function.

This works, except, it takes forever as presumably it goes through every single item and moves it to the deleted folder.

Is there any way even in kopano python to simply truncate the contents of a particular folder, essentially drop forever its contents.

in a way that is fast and doesn’t require the server to move all stuff around.

pretty much like deleting a user which takes one second, and then you can remove the store.
