      Hello,
      i have migrated my old Zarafa, DSPAM Debian 6 Installation to a Kopano, Spamassassin Debian 9 Installation.
      I recieve mails and can send also mails out.

      I have installed Kopano, Spamassassin, ClamAV, Amavis, Razor,Phyzor, DKIM…

      When i get a mail then this mail is not sorted in the Junk Mail Folder in Kopano (what i want).
      From my opinion is the reason that there is no X-SPAM Flag in the header for which dagent searches to sort it in the right folder.

      My postfix main.cf file includes this line:

      #ContentFilter:
      content_filter = smtp-amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024
      receive_override_options = no_address_mappings

      My postfix master.cf file has this lines in between:

      127.0.0.1:10025 inet    n    -    n    -    -    smtpd
       -o content_filter=
       -o local_recipient_maps=
       -o relay_recipient_maps=
       -o smtpd_restriction_classes=
       -o smtpd_helo_restrictions=
       -o smtpd_sender_restrictions=
       -o smtpd_recipient_restrictions=permit_mynetworks,reject
       -o mynetworks=127.0.0.0/8
       -o strict_rfc821_envelopes=yes
       -o smtpd_error_sleep_time=0
       -o smtpd_soft_error_limit=1001
       -o smtpd_hard_error_limit=1000
       -o receive_override_options=no_header_body_checks

      and this lines at the end of the file:

      smtp-amavis  unix    -    -    n    -    2    smtp
       -o smtp_data_done_timeout=1200
       -o smtp_send_xforward_command=yes
       -o disable_dns_lookups=yes

      This is my spamassassin file:

      # /etc/default/spamassassin
      # Duncan Findlay

      # WARNING: please read README.spamd before using.
      # There may be security risks.

      ENABLED=0

      # Options
      # See man spamd for possible options. The -d option is automatically added.

      # Pid file
      # Where should spamd write its PID to file? If you use the -u or
      # --username option above, this needs to be writable by that user.
      # Otherwise, the init script will not be able to shut spamd down.
      PIDFILE="/var/run/spamd.pid"

      Has someone a idea why the headers are not there, or could it be that amavis is not trying to give the mail for scanning to spamassassin?

      Greetings

      Daniel

          @BMWfan said in Spamassassin X-SPAM Flag is not in the Mail Header:

          relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024

          he is obviously giving it to Amavis, so you must be missing some configuration in Amavis. The alternative is that he simply does not classify the message as spam with which you are testing.

            @fbartels ,i installed now a new server to have no dependencies of all the troubleshooting configurations which ive taken and posted here nearly the complete configuration. I’ve installed a new debian 9 server migrated all data but made the configuration postfix, amavis, clamav new. These are now my configurations:

            I’ve changed the values in /etc/amavis/conf.d/20-debian_defaults

            $sa_tag_level_deflt = -999; # add spam info headers if at, or above that level
            $sa_tag2_level_deflt = 6.0; # add 'spam detected' headers at that level
            $sa_kill_level_deflt = 21.0; # triggers spam evasive actions
            $sa_dsn_cutoff_level = 4; # spam level beyond which a DSN is not sent

            I comment out this lines in /etc/amavis/conf.d/15-content_filter_mode

            @bypass_virus_checks_maps = (
               %bypass_virus_checks, @bypass_virus_checks_acl, $bypass_virus_checks_re);

            @bypass_spam_checks_maps = (
              %bypass_spam_checks, @bypass_spam_checks_acl, $bypass_spam_checks_re);

            I’ve changed this record in /etc/amavis/conf.d/50-user like the DNS MX Record:

            $myhostname = 'mail.meine-domain.de';

            I added for sure amavis to postfix:

            postconf -e 'content_filter = smtp-amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024'

            In the end of the postfix master.cf i added this lines:

            smtp-amavis     unix    -       -       -       -       2       smtp
                    -o smtp_data_done_timeout=1200
                    -o smtp_send_xforward_command=yes
                    -o disable_dns_lookups=yes
                    -o max_use=20

            127.0.0.1:10025 inet    n       -       -       -       -       smtpd
                    -o content_filter=
                    -o local_recipient_maps=
                    -o relay_recipient_maps=
                    -o smtpd_restriction_classes=
                    -o smtpd_delay_reject=no
                    -o smtpd_client_restrictions=permit_mynetworks,reject
                    -o smtpd_helo_restrictions=
                    -o smtpd_sender_restrictions=
                    -o smtpd_recipient_restrictions=permit_mynetworks,reject
                    -o smtpd_data_restrictions=reject_unauth_pipelining
                    -o smtpd_end_of_data_restrictions=
                    -o mynetworks=127.0.0.0/8
                    -o smtpd_error_sleep_time=0
                    -o smtpd_soft_error_limit=1001
                    -o smtpd_hard_error_limit=1000
                    -o smtpd_client_connection_count_limit=0
                    -o smtpd_client_connection_rate_limit=0
                    -o receive_override_options=no_header_body_checks,no_unknown_recipient_checks

            I added in the postfix master.cf this lines directly after the pickip transport service:

                     -o content_filter=
                     -o receive_override_options=no_header_body_checks

            Nevertheless it is still not working.

            This is the mail.log output if i restart amavis:

            Feb  5 16:24:23 myserver amavis[22757]: starting. /usr/sbin/amavisd-new at mail.meine-domain.de amavisd-new-2.10.1 (20141025), Unicode aware, LC_ALL="C"

              @BMWfan said in Spamassassin X-SPAM Flag is not in the Mail Header:

              I’ve changed the values in /etc/amavis/conf.d/20-debian_defaults

              its better to use and other file. something like :
              /etc/amavis/conf.d/21-debian_defaults-personal-overrides

              This helps you when you upgrading packages/the full server.
              if you use the same tag ( like -personal-override) that is pretty easy to track all you change over the complete server.

              to your problem.

              add in spamassassin this to /etc/spamassassin/local.cf

              always_add_headers 1

              should work, if not, read :

                @thctlo thank you but in your first link is described that adding this always_add_headers 1 is obsolete for spamassassin version 3.x and it will be skipped if you will add it:
                Feb 6 20:17:46.619 mail.meinserver.de /usr/sbin/amavisd-new[6742]: SA info: config: failed to parse line, skipping, in "/etc/spamassassin/local.cf": always_add_headers 1

                I use spamassassin version 3.4.2. I already saw this provided first link before and built up my configuration like it. The second link includes also not more as my configuration.

                @fbartels or someone else, do you have any idea depending on the new configuration?

                  I could solve this issue. This entry was missing in /etc/amavis/conf.d/50-user:

                  @local_domains_acl = ( "." );```
