      Hello Forum,

I’m using the latest z-push version together with nextcloud caldav and carddav.

I have a calender shared with another nextcloud user. Sync is working fine, so I got all new entries in calendar.
Unfortunaly I don’t get any notifications in iOS 12.

      Someone any ideas.

      Regards Bernd

        Hi Bernd,

what exactly do you mean by “no notifications”? Reminders of an appointment?

What device is it? Which iOS version exactly?

Which Z-Push version exactly are you using and which backend?

        Manfred

          Hi Manfred,

No, not reminders of an appointment. Normally when I add an appointment to calendar I will get notification about the new entry on my phone.
I can activate this as “banners, Sounds, Badges” in iphone settings.

          It’s an iPhone 8 with iOS 12.1.1 (16C50).

          Z-Push-Versions (from repo http://repo.z-hub.io/z-push:/final/RHEL_7):
          z-push-backend-carddav-2.4.5+0-116.1.noarch
          z-push-config-apache-2.4.5+0-116.1.noarch
          z-push-ipc-sharedmemory-2.4.5+0-116.1.noarch
          z-push-config-apache-autodiscover-2.4.5+0-116.1.noarch
          z-push-common-2.4.5+0-116.1.noarch
          z-push-backend-combined-2.4.5+0-116.1.noarch
          z-push-backend-caldav-2.4.5+0-116.1.noarch
          z-push-autodiscover-2.4.5+0-116.1.noarch

I’m using BackendCombined and configured CalDAV and CardDAV.

          Bernd

            Hi Bernd,

I only use iPhone for testing, but I never saw a notification regarding new entry after creating a new appointment in a calendar which is synced over an ActiveSync account. If something like this exists then it’s rather a mobile device setting than a Z-Push issue.

What iPhone setting exactly are you referring to?

            Manfred

@Manfred : Not for all calendar, only for Shared calendars.

However, Z-Push only sends new or modified or deleted items to the phone. If they are there, Z-Push’s job is done. The mobile device then notifies (or not) the user if there’s a new item.

Is it your private calendar you share with another nextcloud user? Or is it someone else’s calendar you configured on your phone? In that case how did you add it to your phone? What is the exact setup (also on nextcloud)?

                Manfred
