No, KOE does not offer such a functionality. And even if we would implement this the user could still in the email itself change the “from” value.

Upgrade to f30b628de8f9d334b014b19d0c33aa9233bc5b78 if you have not yet, maybe that fixes it.

We’ll have to wait for UCS 4.3 to be available on the Open Build System to build official packages. Until then you should be able to use the Debian 9 packages. These are also in the app repository (and should be configured by kopano4ucs).

the problem was the rights on the attachment_path
after this, everything works fine:

chmod 755 /path/to/attachment -R
chown kpano:kopano /path/to/attachment -R

@wndkk just ask the search provider of your choice. I’m sure there are plenty of Howtos for getmail and SMTP delivery.

That script (as it’s named) only has an effect on the gab, and not on user created distribution lists. Distribution lists in personal addressbooks are not supported by ActiveSync. (Have a look at the client comparison for other differences)

Update: Just did some editing and changed the startup-action from kopano-dagent.service

previous: /usr/sbin/kopano-dagent -l now: /usr/sbin/kopano-dagent -l -c /etc/kopano/dagent.cfg

this did the trick - no default cfg in normal startup?
